Calling all Township Gardeners

Do you have a family of gardeners? Want to garden but can't use the produce at harvest time? 

Produce is always welcome any time the Township office is open, Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Saturdays, 8:30 a.m. until 12:00 noon.

The Palatine Township Food Pantry is a source of nutrition that serves senior citizens, the disabled and low-income families and individuals who reside in the Township with non-perishable food on a monthly basis.  Presently, the Pantry is assisting approximately 265 families a month.  Most of the food in the Pantry comes from donations by individuals and food drives sponsored by schools, churches, civic groups and businesses.  Food drives are always needed to keep our shelves stocked, but each and every individual donation adds up, enabling us to fulfill our mission.  For creative food drive ideas, click here.

 At this time, we are particularly low on the following items:

Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, peanut butter, household products, cleaning supplies, health and beauty aids.

Donation Drop-Off

The Food Pantry operates throught the year and we gratefully accept all non-perishable and monetary donations at the Palatine Township Center, 721 S. Quentin Road, Palatine.  Our hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. and 12:00 noon.  If you plan to deliver large quantities, such as donations through food drives, please call 847-358-6121 prior to delivery to assist us in making the necessary arrangements.
